A project to design a beauty salon in Omotesando. Located on the second floor, if the stations were to be placed along the glass wall facing the exterior staircase, the backside of the stations would be visible. For this reason, it was necessary to devise ways to make customers unaware of the backside. A mirror with reduced transmittance was attached to the back of each station to reflect the surrounding environment, thereby gently dividing the indoor and outdoor space. The mirrors are circular in shape to give the impression of lightness.
